Chaos and desolation left from KATRINA!

Katrina flown everything away, including many peoples lives. It is sad to see how people has to struggle to reach for two basic needs, food and shelter! It is amazing that even in these moments of struggling we still have to see people scavaging for their basic needs. Most amazingly is to hear that some of the citizens are shooting at those who are trying to relief the suffering of many others.

Definitely, the US government could have act much faster than what they did. It is not normal that after an incident such as this one that the first help they send is “the military” to ensure safety on streets or whatever it is left from them. It's easy to conclude that if weapons were restricted to “security” personnel only, such as police and a few others, that the rescue could have been much faster, much cheaper and more importantly, that many lives had been saved.

I wish the best to all that are suffering and, at the same time, leave my appreciation for those who give their life to save the ones of many others. These are the true heroes of this disaster.
